Arbor Antiques maintains an inventory of vintage golf clubs from the 1910's, to'30's.  Most are of the wooden shaft variety. All are straight shafted and clean, with stamped markings clearly visible. Any missing whipping or damaged leather grips have been repaired to make these vintage clubs very presentable and collectible to the golf enthusiast. This Spalding wood shafted driver from circa 1915 is in excellent condition. The solid wood head is clean and free of nicks or scratches with new wipping added at the base of the shaft. There are no markings on the brass plate, but the top of the shaft is stamped with "Spalding Gold Medal". The leather grip is original and tight with only minor scratches in the leather. This club would make a fine addition to any collectors prize inventory.
